How Our Content Is Medically Reviewed

Who reviews our content, how often, and what the “medically reviewed” label appearing on every article actually promises.

Who reviews our content

Every clinically relevant article on BeyondGLP is reviewed by Dr. Steven Gabriel, MD, Co-Founder and Medical Director of BeyondGLP — a board-certified emergency physician with a fellowship in Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. You can read his full background on his physician page →

What "medically reviewed" means on this site

You'll see a "medically reviewed" label on articles across this site. Here's exactly what that means: before an article is published, Dr. Gabriel reads it specifically to confirm the clinical claims are accurate and responsibly framed. That review happens after our editorial team has already verified every citation against its original source — the two checks are separate, and both have to pass before anything goes live. You can read more about that process on our Editorial Standards page →

The label means a licensed physician reviewed the content before publication. It doesn't mean the article was written to address your specific situation, and it isn't a substitute for a conversation with your own doctor.

Limitations

Everything on this site is educational, not diagnostic, and not a substitute for medical care. Reading an article here — even a medically reviewed one — doesn't replace an exam, lab work, or an ongoing relationship with your own physician. If something you read here raises a question about your own health, that question belongs with your doctor.
